Narconon Features

Narconon Arrowhead is one of the leading treatment facilities in the nation. The Narconon program carries an over 70% success rate. This is a proven statistical success rate based 2 years after a student completes the Narconon Program. Narconon carries an accreditation through Commission on the Accreditation of rehab Facilities (CARF), as well as the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health. Narconon Arrowhead is a non-traditional program, which means that we do not follow the traditional 12 steps. Narconon has many different treatment options available.  It takes a holistic approach handling both the addiction, as well as the mental and emotional issues that often accompany it.

Narconon Arrowhead has a 24 hr nursing cabin, with nurses present at all times. It also has many Certified Chemical Dependency Counselors (C.C.D.C.), as well as Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors [C.A.D.C], and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors [L.A.D.C].  Many of the counselors here at Narconon have struggled with an addiction themselves.

This helps the students coming into the program really relate to the counselors. We have found a person is much more willing to open up to someone who has been in their shoes before, as opposed to someone who has sat in a classroom and learned about addiction through literature.

Narconon Arrowhead is an inpatient treatment facility located in Southeast Oklahoma. The facility is located on the largest manmade Lake in Oklahoma; Lake Eufaula. Narconon is located in the back of a 500+ acre state park, and is 5 miles from the nearest road. Because of its secluded location and 150+ staff, we are able to provide one on one attention to each of our clients. We believe a person is not here to be punished, but to get their lives back on track. The individualized treatment used at Narconon contributes to one of the highest success rates in the nation.

Narconon is a results based treatment program. This means there is no set time for how long it takes an individual to finish the program. Each student is different and has individual needs that have to be focused on. The program is designed around those specific needs of the student. Instead of the traditional “group therapy” used in twelve step type treatment, Narconon takes a more one on one approach. We have found a student is much more willing to speak with a counselor one on one, as opposed to a group of total strangers. The Narconon program uses a state of the art detoxification program, known as the New Life Detoxification Program. The New Life Detoxification Program utilizes a dry heat sauna, similar to a health spa, in addition to a regimen of vitamin and mineral treatment. Anytime an individual puts a substance into their body, there are two basic ways the body flushes the substance out. One is through sweat and the second is through urine. This happens to be why they can test for drug residuals in someone’s urine. That is why the sauna program is so effective. By working with the body’s natural way of flushing out toxins, an individual can get a fresh new start after completing the sauna detoxification.

The Narconon Arrowhead Program has been in this location since 2001. Before becoming Narconon Arrowhead, this facility was a resort. The facility has a beautiful view overlooking Lake Eufaula. We have multiple room options available to our students. From private suites that have Wi-Fi access, to two person rooms with two queen size beds. We are able to accommodate business owners, so that coming to treatment does not affect their business.  Students are served 3 meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is excellent, and has many healthy options available to our students, including a full salad bar at both lunch and dinner. In between meals, the cafeteria has an open snack bar with nutritious food available to all students. When an individual is using drugs or alcohol, their nutrition often times goes downhill. While in the program, we focus on getting an individual’s nutrition back in check.

The Narconon Program consists of a very structured schedule, but students do have leisure time throughout the day. The mild summers in Oklahoma provide our students with plenty of outside activities. We have a sand beach located a short walk away from the facility. A sand volleyball court, and tennis court are located on the property. Basketball, flag football, and softball tournaments all take place throughout the week. Students also have access to a full size gym, pool tables, TV’s, and a full selection of movies. Students can also qualify to go on weekly trips to the movies, bowling, etc. Needless to say a student has many options available as far as spending their free time.

Based off of the highest level of accreditations; Narconon Arrowhead has the ability to accept many of today’s private insurance providers. This has made the program available to many who would not have the financial means to pay for a program. Cigna, Aetna, United Health Care, United Behavioral Health, Great West, Humana, PacifiCare, and many more. If Insurance is not available, Narconon has many different financial options available. We work with medical lending companies, as well as flexible payment plans to make this program possible for the vast majority of people reaching out for help. We are not here to profit off individuals misfortunes, so we are willing to work with family's to make this program affordable.
