Montana\'s need for methamphetamine drug rehab:  Methamphetamine is increasingly available throughout montana and is considered the msot significant drug problem to local law enforcement and methamphetamine drug rehab centers are needed throughout the entire state of Montana.  IN a recent survey, 9% of the adult population reported lifetime methamphetamine use.  Also, 9% of the teen population in Montana reports using methamphetamine at least once.  The marjority of methamphetamine in Montana is trafficked by mexican national groups.  Addictionally, numerous small-scale local laboratory operators are appearing with more frequency.  most of the laboratories are operated by Caucasians and the DEA reports a total of 273 methamphetamine labs seized between 2000-2004.  Also, there were 30,141.89 grams of methamphetamine seized in 2004. 

Montana\'s need for marijuana addiction treatment:  Marijuana is readily available throughout Montana and is the most commonly abused drug in the state and there is a need for marijuana addiction treatment.  B.C. Bud is increasing in popularity and availability.  Even though 33.27% of the entire population in Montana said that smoking marijuana once a month posed a great risk, 44% of Montana high school students in 2003 reported using marijuana at one point in their life.  Of the high school students survey, the report shows the median age of first use of marijuana was 11-12 years old. 

Montana\'s need for club drug rehab:  The emergence of club drugs, primarily ecstasy, has escalated in Montana\'s larger communities.  Raves have become more common in the Billings area.  GHB and ketamine (special K) have not beomce a serious concern to the state, but is still an emerging trend in Montana.  LSD use and availability are limited to the college communities in Bozeman and Missoula.  Ecstasy is distributed in Montana by local independent dealers who transport small quantities of one thousand or more tablets from Denver to Montana.  As teen club drug abuse rises, there is a need for club drug rehab programs in Montana.
